I have had the busiest off-season ever! And suddenly, it’s summer in these parts. I haven’t been blogging (obviously) as much as I’d like, but it’s not because I’m not having a good time. Work is busy, in the best way possible, and I’ve been out of town a lot on the weekends. I had my cousin’s bachelorette party and then last weekend we went to Flagstaff for her wedding. But instead of a traditional ceremony, it was a private ceremony one day and then a big camp-out party in the woods the next day. It was so much fun. Here are some pictures.

I’m staying up late so I can be the first to call my brother to wish him Happy Birthday. I’m that kind of sister.

Two years.

Last Friday marked my two year anniversary in Telluride. What an amazing journey it’s been. I am so grateful for the people I’ve met since moving here, the people I’ve met here who will be lifelong friends and the life I’ve created here in this remote box canyon.

A lovely spring break.

It’s been a wonderful Spring Break so far. Two hilarious and fun nights in Fort Collins. Another killer night of bluegrass with the Infamous Stringdusters. Four breweries in two days. Lunch in Boulder with my brother and three of my bestest friends ever. Homebrews in a Boulder backyard full of gut wrenching laughs that left me with a bursting heart. A belated birthday dinner with Holly and James and a five-hour drive to Santa Fe for three nights with my daddy-o. He’s a pretty upstanding guy. Saw my uncle and my grandma and visited my fifth brewery of the week. And tomorrow, I head to Portland, Ore. A new place to discover with old and new friends. Looking forward to it!

Some hot homebrew action in Boulder with Brittany. One of the best afternoons I’ve had in a while drinking homemade beer in her boyfriend’s backyard with my brother and two best friends from college. Pure bliss.
